A driver was injured and several homes were damaged after an explosion on a flatbed Truck Saturday Morning in Addison, Police Said.
A propane tank on the Truck Leaked into the Vehicle, Caususg an Explosion About 8:40 AM, Addison Police Said in a Facebook post. Wood Dale Road North of Lake Street was Closed Due to the incident.
The Driver, Whose Age and Gender Weren’t releassed, sufferered minor Injuries, Police Said.
Addison Police, Fire and County Personnel Were Investigating.
There is no indication of Suspicious Activity, and the explosion was rouled an Accident. There is no danger to the public, Police Said.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area unil the scnene was clear.
