Llovana Torres, 26, was arrested Saturday and Charged with Aggravated Battery of a Child Under 13, Chicago Police Said. She was oroured detail at a Hearing Monday.

The 7-Yaar-Old was then Airlifted to lurie children’s hospital for Emergency Surgery to repair a ruptured diaphragm and a stab wound that required multiple sutures. He Remains hospitalized on a ventilator, accorting to prosectors.
Torres was arrested at Evanston Hospital, Where She Told a Receptionist That She Had Stabbed The Child, Prosecutors Said.
AFTER HER ARREST, SHE TOLD Police she did it becase she was “trying to find” Him inside the cabinet and acidentally stabbed Him. Torres also al The allegatedly told her mother to live what haad happened to the boy.
Torres Identified the Knife for Police and it was recovered at the scene.
She is in court again June 13.
